Mechanic Refrigeration Co., Inc. has been awarded the construction of the ammonia refrigeration system at the new California Dairies Manufacturing facility located in Visalia California. The system features Frick RWFII screw compressors, Evapco Condensers and Evaporators, RVS vessels, Cornell pumps and Alfa Laval heat exchangers. The compressor capacity is 3365 tons refrigeration. The facility, when complete, will have the capability to process 10,000,000 pounds of milk per day and has North Americas largest spray drier.
